Does RockShox Deluxe select R have lockout?
There is just one version of this shock which gets high and low speed rebound adjustment plus a low speed compression damping dial. There’s no threshold or lockout lever because this is a downhill shock so it’s presumed the rider won’t be pedalling this shock a long way.
How does RockShox remote lockout work?
The new Rockshox TwistLoc lockout remote for forks and shocks solves both problems in a clean, ergonomically friendly way. The TwistLoc uses a GripShift-style twisting barrel to pull 10mm of cable and hold it taught. This works with SRAM’s remote-compatible forks and shocks, like the new SID, to lock them out.

Mountain bike suspension often features multiple modes, to better set up the bike to climb or descend, and one of these common features is the lock out.
What PSI should my rear shock be?
The exact PSI you end up with depends on how plush/firm you want the rear shock to be, but a good starting point is 1 psi for 1 lbs in weight of the rider (including riding gear).
Are lockout forks worth it?
Registered. You definitely don’t need a lock-out on your fork. On steep smooth climbs where you’re out of the saddle a lock-out is nice – as it prevents the front end from bouncing up and down.
