Are Brembo rotors any good?
Brembo rotors are always a great product. I run nothing else on my cars (track and daily drivers). Great prices here on Amazon and free shipping. The Brembo boxes were a little damaged from shipping but product was unharmed so I only wish they were packed a little better.
Are Brembo rotors better than OEM?
The friction material on Brembo OE replacement brake pads is able to handle high temperatures better. This means better bite than OE brake pads, even with OE rotors. With a set of Brembo brake pads on your vehicle, you’ll enjoy faster braking response and shorter stopping distances.
What are the 3 types of rotors?
Let’s review the four primary brake rotor types.
- Blank & Smooth. Blank and smooth rotors are the most common rotor type for passenger vehicles, like most standard sedans.
- Drilled. Drilled rotors have a series of holes drilled in spiraling patterns across the surface.
- Slotted.
- Drilled & Slotted.
Can you put Brembo calipers on any rotor?
No, they cannot. However, you can get Brembo blank rotors that are the stock size as replacements.
Are Brembo brakes made in China?
The Brembo Group inaugurated it new production hub today for the manufacturing of aluminium brake calipers in Nanjing, located in China’s Jiangsu province.

How long do Brembo rotors last?
The mileage on your Brembo pads depends on the type of driving that you do. A lot of stop and go driving or hard braking will make the pads wear out faster. Under normal conditions, the front pads should last about 35,000 miles.
Are Wilwood brakes better than Brembo?
On a lot of the custom/hot rod shows on TV, the mechanics use Wilwood brakes on their builds, instead of Brembos. I have heard that Wilwood brakes are less expensive and lighter than Brembos. However, Brembos have superior quality and stopping power. That’s why they are used on all of the exotic European supercars.
What kind of rotors are best?
Which is better solid or vented rotors?
Solid rotors that have a slightly larger surface and offer better durability and stopping power. Vented brake rotors that provide better cooling and are less likely to warp and fade, particularly when heat cycles spike up and down during a competition.
What is so good about Brembo brakes?
The Brembo fixed calipers, in addition to their characteristic performance and design, are able to confer weight reduction and residual torque advantages to the cars, resulting in lower fuel consumption and therefore lower emissions. As previously explained, the friction coefficient affects the braking torque.
Are Brembo calipers worth it?
If you have a high-performance or luxury car, especially ones that come with Brembo brakes from the factory, you probably won’t be disappointed in their quality or use.
