What is DuraTex coating?
DuraTex is a high performance protective texture coating with tremendous adhesion to wood and other substrates. It can be either applied with a textured roller or spray applied to create a tough, beautiful, weather resistant and easily maintained texture surface.
How long does DuraTex take to dry?
CURING: DuraTex will air dry and the drying time will depend on the amount of relative humidity in the area. On real dry days with low relative humidity, the product will dry within an hour. On hot muggy, rainy days with high relative humidity, it may take 2 or 3 hours to dry fully.
What is DuraTex made of?
DuraTex® is a blend of highly technical polymers, and special LOW V.O.C coalescents for creating beautiful high relief, durable textures. DuraTex® requires no special primers because it’s self priming.
Can you paint over DuraTex?
my experiences and practices as a professional painter tell me to say : wait and no don’t put it in the sun. Duratex needs heat (curing oven) or time to cure. Putting it in the sun should be fine. He should rotate it occasionally though.

Registered. Duratex is super easy to sand. You don’t need a belt sander, it’s not that tough. Use 80-120 and it will sand down pretty quick.
