How fast is a dinghy?
Medium-sized dinghies cruise up to 6-8 knots (11 -15 km/h). Larger dinghies (Catamaran and trimarans) can run at 9-10 knots (16.6-18.5 km/h). Racing dinghies can speed up to 15 knots (27 km/h).
