I’m inclined to believe it was intentionally dropped. Update: 01/04/2021 – An AT rep informed me that neither plan has been discontinued. There was a problem with the AT Prepaid website. Both plans are now available again for purchase.

Can I turn my AT contract phone into a prepaid phone?
sandblaster. No. You can switch to prepaid but you will have to pay off the phone. There are no phone installment plans on prepaid.

You can use iPhone 12 or 13 with prepaid service. Its just a matter of getting a prepaid Sim card for the device. Those devices will work for a prepaid account just like a post paid account.
